A few words from my Dad, Pete Parker………..

“I started in window cleaning in 1967 – over 40 years ago. It was off to a shaky start at first. I was a new face on the block and found it hard going getting customers willing to give me a try. The equipment in those days was a bit primitive in comparison to this day and age. I started out with a bucket of water and washing up liquid with just a chamois and no squeegees!! I stuck at it thanks to the encouragement from my dear wife Ann, who sadly passed away in 2003. Without Ann’s support, the business would not be as it is today.

After a year of hard work I had built up quite a good sized round and a few healthy industrial contracts had come my way – most of these we still have today. I have to admit I really enjoyed the domestic work most of all, as I love meeting people and the contact with the customers, and best of all those much needed cups of tea!

Many of our domestic customers still remain loyal to this day. Recent years have seen many competitors come and go, but I believe our dedication as a local business has seen us through and we pride ourselves in the high level of service and quality of work we offer.

My son joined the business in 1989 and I retired in 1998 having worked closely together as a Father and Son team for over 10 years. Jeffery has pushed the business forward to maintain the success it enjoys today. I am proud of what he has achieved since he took over the business and I know that his mum would feel the same way. Window cleaning is hard physical graft and is no easy way to make a living! I wish him lots of luck and every success for the future.”
